The garden tub and small stand alone shower once embellished the wish lists of everyone embarking on a new build or bathroom remodel. Spacious and relaxing tubs with large surrounds to decorate with ivy and a few candles slowly went out when the practicality of dusting the hard-to-reach tub deck and the difficulty of climbing over the edge were too overwhelming to thoroughly enjoy a good soak.
As time marched on, the desire for large tub evolved into a desire for a large shower! Tubs are now smaller and more comfortable and showers are designed to be as spacious and accommodating as the bathroom can handle.
