Changing the focal point was first on the list for this bathroom. While a toilet is a necessity, walking into any room should give you a warm and inviting feeling. So we swapped the vanity and toilet position and were able to maximize the storage capacity that’s necessary in every bathroom with a floor to ceiling linen cabinet.
The corner shower served its purpose for many years, but there was now space to elongate it and add two water sources and a bench. While stationary shower heads are most convenient, cleaning, bathing dogs, and the rare times we need to sit are much easier with a hand shower. Remodeling a bathroom is all about beauty and convenience. If it doesn’t break the bank, taking advantage of things that make life easier is a no brainer.
