Sleeping Beauty

This old building had great bones and a lot of hidden beauty. All the walls were torn out and ceiling tiles were taken down revealing the rustic character and charm of the original building. What was once a barber shop, retail store, and law offices among a few other unknown companies is now a beauty salon in Antwerp called “Small Town Bliss”. Congratulations Audrey! We wish you many years of success!!

The original ceiling was still in great condition so we left it exposed and put a coat of new finish on it.

With an open shell, there were a few different ways we could layout the space.  Most of the furniture was already in possession from the previous salon location so getting everything to fit into was my only challenge.

The flooring we chose is a glue down.  With the age of the building, it was suggested that porcelain tile may end up cracking so we chose a busier glue down luxury vinyl that would camouflage any spilled hair color among other messes.

The natural light, the paint color, and the beautiful finishes installed in this beauty salon make it one of a kind!  With the added talent and experience of the ladies employed here, it is definitely the best salon in Antwerp, OH.  Stop in and check it out!
